How much for a pound near you?

Same here as last year. whats driven across many states 1-1200 from the mule. For the top shelf grown in state 2-2200 straight from the grower. Hate to imagine what the grower of the stuff getting his shipped here is getting.

    dehum ac and so on

what is the outdoor temp range through the year, or during the time of the year that you will be growing? I ask because if you can use whole room and use air exchange along with the dehumdifier and AC it would simplify everything.

    New grower looking for advice

They dont look bad especially if you are new. Using the weight of the container is probably easiest way to learn when to water in potting soil. They dont need ferts yet so just learn when to water. They should get fairly dry in between waterings.

    Nutrient solution strength issue.

EC 1.7 is getting into the high range, if they look good there dont go higher. 1.2 would probably be plenty.

PH of runoff 6.7 in coco but the feed is 5.6???

Any new people reading this dont use these extreme EC #s. Start around 1.2 and go from there. Plants can look real good at these high numbers then look real bad real quick. If you are multi feeding you are replenishing the pool every few hours, they dont need 3 EC every few hours. When you get...

    Only calcium

Be careful, if you increase the amount of Ca the plant will take up less of one, or all of the other cations. K or Mg, usually Mg deficiency first. You could decrease the amount of K or Mg and keep Ca amount the same and the plant will uptake more Ca than it was.

Difference between distilled and ro water for nutrients

Where I live store bought RO and distilled dont have CaCl, or anything else, there are jugs that have been added to for taste but distilled is distilled. I only use it for making fertilzer concentrate and cleaning off pH probe when I am calibrating. Are you sure you need RO/distilled, is the tap...

Jack's 3-2-1/Master Blend...replace calcium nitrate with calcium sulfate during flower?

If you are not using tap/well water why not just use it and jacks without CaNO3. People have used heads 6/9 in coco for a long time. Alot of them cut the floramicro at the halfway mark and did fine. Thats no Ca for second half of flowering. I always went with micro longer but thats still the...

Jack's 3-2-1/Master Blend...replace calcium nitrate with calcium sulfate during flower?

Calimagic from GH has very low nitrate content, it uses some other form of Ca along with a little CaNO3 and MgNO3. If you havent tried just dropping the CaNO3, try that one run.

    Hempy modification question

Perlite will wick up the moisture a long way, and the plant will send roots down in a day or two. You can also make a small hempy and tranplant if you want. I used bato buckets decades ago and would root cuttings in solo cup hempy of perlite and transplant to batos after cup was full of roots.

John 12 the female Kali x everything that is outgrowing the others sounds like Kali Mist. It may take over the light from everything else when you flower. If it does you may be tempted to cull it, dont do it. It may be some real rocket fuel!

What are the most premium seeds?

If the "elite" has a fault, which they all do, then a male can be used to fix the fault. You could self another fem elite and use that pollen to try to fix it also, the only difference will be male plants in the progeny. There is so much diversity you could self the cutting and probably find a...

PH of runoff 6.7 in coco but the feed is 5.6???

NO3 causes the plant to raise the pH in the rhizosphere. With that high of EC there is alot of NO3 ions being taken up. My output pH is same as yours. I dont worry about it. Adding a little NH4 would help lower it if you think its necessary. I will keep quiet about the EC.

    Reservoir ph keeps rising

Most likely its from carbonates/bicarbonates if its tap or well. Drop your pH lower, try 5.6-5.8. If pH still rises you can go lower. There is a pH point where it will not raise back up, or at least not as fast. If that doesnt work it could be biological, if your rez feels, looks, or smells...

    Simple ?? On BUD ROT

Botyritis is not systemic. Under the right conditions it will put out spores that can infect other parts of the plant but it is not moving through the phloem or xylem of the plant.

    bodhi seeds

I have a feeling ghash had compact plants, lanky plants, and everything in between. People see hashplant and think compact Deep Chunk looking plants and I dont think that is the case, I have never seen a grouping of ghash plants I am just going by the offspring with different females. I imagine...

    Ratios, who is correct?

3-1-4 straight thru veg and flower will work well in coco. You can use a 1-3-3 or 1-3-2 a few times thru flower may help. Or 1-3-3 alone through flower. Hell you could use maxibloom through veg and flower but 3-1-4 at least thru veg seems to work best with a lot of different cuts.

How do I control ph in a res

If you are using tap water you probably can adjust pH a little lower, down to 5.8 is not taking enough of the alkalinity out. At some point it will stay alot more stable. If your res is recirculating like DWC, etc the plants will raise the pH when they take up NO3, I dont know which autopots...
