No doubt about the strain playing a big role. Not gonna lie, i love huge yields. Thats not why i grow either, but the higher the yield i usually feel more accomplished.

Dont remove the leaves. Tie your branches out to open up the canopy. If your plant is too large and training isnt enough, you can remove lower budsites that will produce popcorn nugs. But dont remove the leaves. The plant needs those for a reason.
