    Advice from experienced L.E.D growers

I'm simply downsizing my grow and will be constructing a 2'x4'x7' cabinetc to flower in. The only real question I have is simple. What is the best L.E.D fixture i can buy for that space? Personally I'd rather go overkill than under do it. At the same time I want to maintain temperatures...

Low night temp/higher wattage or ideal temp/low wattage

Enviroment control is key. So a more balanced temp gets my vote.experiment with different exhaust set ups and design. You can set j take fans OK now timers to bring cool air when you need it, and turn off at night when it's cool. Etc.

    4x4 tent trouble

There is no doubt the carbon will restrict the air flow. But its the best way to go in my opinion if your not running a sealed room. I did watch the video which was aprreciated.. it should work just fine like that but I would recommend mounting that fan directly to the hood. That's how those...

5x5x6.6 grow tent, newbie. Intake/ exhaust

We need just a little more detail. Where is this room going to be located ? Main level house, basement, garage ? All of which would require slightly different needs in environment control. The ambient temperature of the grow room (temp of room surrounding the actual grow room/tent) will affect...

    problems with cloning

Get the rapid rooter plugs and a humidity dome. Grab a bottle of rapid start from General Hydroponics, and soak the plugs in a mixture of the rapid start and water. I let them soak for 1 day.. then take your clone, dip in a rooting compound if you choose, then stick the clone in the plug. Put it...

    Help with equipment

I would stick with the HID lighting.. L.E.D.s are cool, but not comparable to h.i.d. That being said, you can also save yourself $100+ if you build your own grow tent. It's extremely simple. Build a wooden frame, then wrap the whole thing with polyfilm. Use a staple gun to keep the poly film...

    4x4 tent trouble

Well I see you already purchased the fan, but if you haven't plugged it in yet I would simply change the placement of your fan. Instead just have the ducting run from your carbon filter, straight into the light/hood, and your fan pulling air directly from the hood. In line fans work much more...

small box big dreams help here! POLL!

I vote for 1 plant, non auto flower. Top it when you have 2-3 nodes, let those branches grow 2-3 inches then tie them down, and top them again.. repeat that process until your have the screen filled. Then switch the lights to 12/12. Another option would be to line the walls with a metal screen...

    Roots Organics Nutrients

Eh, I might Do that. Here's the whole scoop. I'm actually 6 week a into flower now. I was gifted a starter pack of aptus nutrients but ran out of most of them. Since aptus is an 'organic' bases line, I wanted to get something similar to finish the next 4 weeks. I didn't feel like paying for...

    Roots Organics Nutrients

So as I look into it more, I'm getting more questions... With these organics, and growing in coco, where does that leave me as far as PH? Am I supposed to adjust the ph of my nutrient mix as a normal coco grow ? Or do I need to amend the coco with dolimite lime and take ph readings of the...

    Roots Organics Nutrients

Well I was looking at the whole line and it seems as if most of them serve a purpose. And a lot of the additives provide the extra N, which may be why you experienced the light green color.. Either way I have then so I'll give them a shot. I did read I should mix my nutrients 24 hours in advance...

    Roots Organics Nutrients

Well honestly I wasn't planning on using this line. I had my eyes on Canna coco nutrients. But this master 5 ml pack of RO was only $40 for everything I listed. And with my grow, it'll be enough to last a full cycle. So why the he'll not. Lol I have looked at the bottles to see what's going on...
