a couple of things are going on. sounds like you are drowning your plant. you want the first inch or so of soil to dry before you water again. what nutrients and soil are you using? and 300 watts of what type of lighting are you using i.e. what is the bulb color scale? PH also plays a factor.

Why have a mother plant if you are going to stress her out and dont really have a place to keep her? your crop will not be as good and could run the risk of making herm cuttings. IMO just buy seeds every crop.

i would leave the branches and fim the top. you will get some monster bud with that technique. IMO the only reason to cut secondary branches is for Sea Of Green or if you dont have the space.

headband is my favorite out of all of those...took a few hits and bam i was couchlock....I really wanted to get a ton of taco bell but couldnt move or know where to start. my top 3 are heaband, sour D, and grapefruit ice. good choices you got as well

just looking at the stuff i think its only made for soil. if you use it in hydro your dose might be messed up. id say give it a shot you will know early on if it doesn't work, or you can spend $30 save time and money spent on electricity and buy hydro fert and be sure that your grow will be great.

IMO having a 400w hps in a tent was too hot in my first grows, i just had to unzip the door and have a fan blowing on everything and the downside was the smell, but it was the cheap thing to do to keep everything cool. you could do that for the time being or go to walmart and buy some desk fans...

what would be cool is to learn grafting (i think thats what they call it) went to Arizona to visit a friend and he had a orange tree that had 3 branches of lemon tree grafted onto it to get both fruits. i really want to learn the technique.

Look into EBB and Grow setups. i have some friends with 200 plant operations and that setup is sick for producing pounds.

thats a good sign that either your PH is off or you are over watering. have you checked your soils PH and how often do you water?

if you cant buy anything then id suggest just openning up the front and have a fan blowing into the tent. the only downside is you will have a stinky house. :blsmoke:

Im still not convinced by using them. they are hella expensive and for the price you could get a 1000HPS that has better penetration and higher output on light. :mrgreen:
