A few years ago I used cyco nutrients and liked the results. Recently switched to canna and never had any problems with a high amount of crystals. Very pricey for both, and might try the kiss method next for the low cost and see if I get the same results

let it ride out. you are only in the beginning stages of flower and at this point no one will get dense buds until later in flower. dont mess with the lighting back and fourth. i would hate to see you get the plants to herm..keep it 12/12

If you have your flood table full of hydroton and partially burry the pot so that the roots can grow down and spread then yes. If it's just the pots then you will be limiting your plants potential.

If your water has a proper amount of oxygen I don't see there being any problems with some of the pot being submerged. with dwc as much of the root mass can be flooded as u want. More roots under water is more surface for the plant to feed

Canna is amazing stuff. The only other nutrient I have used with canna is calmag+ and a folier stray to give an extra bump. I do recommend using everything called for in their feed chart if u want to maximize your potential

yes the hole has to be on the pipe inside the trash can very very small hole. when the pump shuts off you need air to get into the pipe to kill the siphon effect or else water will keep flowing to your plants.
