Heat matts get way to hot. You have to use bamboo sticks or plastic hangers under the tray to elevate it 1/4" off the matt. Even than it usually still gets to hot! The heat matts are a pain in the a and you buy them cause you think it will help and be better but it's exactly the opposite.
