    algen extract

Any old root powder should work out okay, if you can't get the shultz, its the oxygenated water that gets the roots going.

    algen extract

Make your own bubble cloner or buy one, if you use Schultz Take Root powder, in my experience, you should do fine. You can get the Take Root powder at Walmart or any place, and it's cheap. Just cut you clones at a 45 degree angle, split em up the middle of the stem abou 1/4 an inch, dip them...

    Clones from tops?

Sure it works, I've had good esults doing it that way, with a bubble cloner. I've never taken clones from the bottom. It always seemed a waste to cut a top and throw it away. The only problem with cloning a top is that if you top during veg to get 2 main colas, you don't know the sex of the...

Laser Irradiation of Seeds for Improved Growth

Just irradiated 6 Big Bud seeds, 1 himalayan blue diesel, and 1 onyx seed. I always germinate in peat pellets, so I will neve see the tap roots. This is not a double blind experiment, just after researching the idea, I thought it couldn't hurt, and may work out as well as the research data...

mycorrhizal bacteria a MUST for any DWC system, if your roots have any problem, click

As in other threads in this forum and other forums, there is one item that shows up time and time again where it relates to brown algea slime, ADDITIVES. A clean system, and just the basic non-organic nutes usually keeps the slime (called hydro herpes, lol, at another forum) away from your grow...

    How easy is DWC/bubbleponics

While reading through the thread suggested by golddog, I see that most that had these issues admitted to them occurring after using additives, I've learned through experience and with information from more experienced DWC/bubbleponics growers like BoomerBloomer57 on this and other forums to keep...

    How easy is DWC/bubbleponics

Good looking out. But I noticed that those guys are not using a DWC/bubbleponics system in their grows, they are using ebb and flow set-ups, which are very different as their res, is separate from the system and it is set on a timer to flood the plants then flow out back to the nute res. I'm not...

    How easy is DWC/bubbleponics

The cooler is a great idea, BoomerBloomer57 has some excellent tips on this method, as soon as I get done with my current grow I'll be switching to coolers, especially the Igloo with the drian that you can hook up a hose and shut-off valves to.

    How easy is DWC/bubbleponics

Ok, I started this thread for folks that have experience in DWC/bubbleponics, or are interested in trying it out. No dirt please, soil growers have their own sections in the forum, and if you do both, you are more than welcome here, but I'm only interested in information about...

    How easy is DWC/bubbleponics

I've grown in both, when you get nute lock in soil it is no joke and not a quick fix, if you've ever had to flush your soil grow and had to watch your plants wilt because of the needed flush, and hoped and prayed that they recover, you know what I'm talking about. The same situation in a...

SO i want too try this DWC Stuff for CLONING

Niiiice. Yeah, what Tahmi Guhn said! And henery is correct about the temps for rooting clones, that temp also goes for seedlings too, the warmer temps do help root formation for seedlings and new cuttings.

    How easy is DWC/bubbleponics

Thanks for the replies. I have seen in my experience that this type of grow is more forgiving than soil in the sense that if you screw up you can fix it pretty quickly and easily. And because you have to pay more attention you catch problems a bit earlier, let alone the fact that plants grow...

    C'mon man

Hey Riu, ya know what year it is? Yep it's 2010. The calender on this site only goes to 2009, COME ON MAN! You can't be serious, wake up "webmaster", update your shit already! It's freaking August! You owe your paycheck for 8 months for letting that get by you.

SO i want too try this DWC Stuff for CLONING

Yes, it helps oxygenate, or add oxygen to water. Hydrogen peroxide plus air stones equal super-oxygenated water, great for your clones!

SO i want too try this DWC Stuff for CLONING

If you're in the US it's available in every store, it's used for a variety of purposes, it's in almost every medicine cabinet in every house in the country, right next to the rubbing alchohol. It comes in a dark brown plastic bottle, for about .99 cents. If you rinse your mouth with it, it...

    How easy is DWC/bubbleponics

Ok guys, I've seen you grow dank buds with the bubbleponics. I need to know what issues you've seen using this method, other than res temps. Do you germ in rockwool or peat pellets in directly in your system like me, or use another method? Any seedling issues, nute burn issues, or is it...

    New Guy need help, Bubbleponics

That will work but you gotta watch your res temp. I made my own, somewhat like that one for a lot less money. If you want to build your own, check out bb57's threads, he's got it down to a science, and uses Igloo coolers that really controls res temps very well.
