    Foliar Feeding

Your input is greatly appreciated. My issue was bad soil that held water too long. The wife bought the wrong stuff, MG garden soil not the potting soil (the garden soil is meant for outside where the ground might be dry, the plant in the picture is planted in MG potting soil and has had no...

    First timer with problems

Seems like you've getting your pH under control, your watering habits should be based on several items, type of soil; some soils hold water much longer than others even when you use perlite. Size of plant: the bigger the plant the more water is needed. Get a moisture meter and only water when it...

    Foliar Feeding

Thanks for posting. When you over-water and have pH problems, look out, you're in for a long slow veg period and trouble with nutes, at this point you have to foliar feed until you get the situation corrected IMHO.

    Will I need bigger pots?

Wow, what a mess. The little ones may not survive transplanting, but the biggest one needs to be removed, because it's roots are probably starting to tangle with the others. What a mess!! You could just let em go and see what happens, and if you get a male, just cut hom out of the bunch, but...

    Will I need bigger pots?

You will cause stress to the roots when you try to separate them, cause they will grow tangled together. You should separate them as soon as possible, to avoid disaster. Your call, good luck with those.

When should i change to larger pots

You can upcan or transplant or re-pot your plants when your root system is strong enough, which is usually indicated by the leaf sets, the more the better. But don't wait too long or the plant will get root bound. I like to transplant when I have at least two or three sets of "true leaves", fan...

How bad is it to veg with HPS

Good point, I use a 600 watt hps, so I have a few more options. Just go with the hps 150 then, all they way through flowering. Keep it close enough to the plant but not too close, I hear 8" to 12" away is good for the 150 watt. I have to keep my 600 watt 2 feet away from my gals.

How bad is it to veg with HPS

I found out through research that if you have an hps only ballast that you can use an mh lamp in it as long as it is rated less than or equal to the wattage of your hps ballast. IOW, hps ballast can use mh of same or less wattage. mh ballast can not use hps lamps. Also, mh runs a quite bit...

why does water sound like a pain in the ass?

It's up to you, I don't, but my water is not overly chlorinated. Leaving it ou helps to allow the chlorine escape.

why does water sound like a pain in the ass?

Cool, me too! So just do the moisture, ph meter thing and you'll be fine, just remember, never over-water.

    Foliar Feeding

Hmmm, what is the point? With no nute lock-up from over-watering, bad PH levels etc.... Any thoughts on that?
