Is a 135W LED overkill for 3 sq ft / 7 cubic feet?

Yeah, but it still might be a waste. I could get a 90w led for $50-$70.

Is a 135W LED overkill for 3 sq ft / 7 cubic feet?

I'm really really interested in trying this amazing deal: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/135w-UFO-LED-Grow-Light-Full-spectrum-3W-Flower-LEDs-Hydroponic-grow-lamp-panel-/280994073556?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item416c8d4bd4#ht_7195wt_1271 $114 total for a 135w light, 100% feedback, and pretty fast...

Is Cinderella Sick? Dark spots and tips burned on seedling.

Ah, another thing, I'm reading that sativas tend to be more sensitive to nutes, and C99 is primarily sativa. Even as a seedling it seems to be showing its sativa genetics, with its leaf structure and height compared to the other two. So, in order from liking less nutrients to more it's C99...

Is Cinderella Sick? Dark spots and tips burned on seedling.

Well, coir doesn't have any nutrients, which is why I used them. I think the 2 week rule is generally for soil.

Is Cinderella Sick? Dark spots and tips burned on seedling.

Yeah, I'm thinking it might be nutes, it seems unlikely that the CFL burned it. I flushed the hempy bucket, so hopefully it'll be feeling better. Odd that 1/4th strength would burn it. Oh no, actually, I think I had screwed up the math and given them full or half strength the first time...

Is Cinderella Sick? Dark spots and tips burned on seedling.

Female Seeds C99, sprouted 2/9 and placed under low watt daylight fluorescent, then moved under a 42-watt daylight when I finished my small tent. Grown in a coir/perlite hempy bucket (https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=93983). I fed it 1/4th strength maxibloom. Taken today: 2/16...

How To Run Your PC Fans Off An Outlet and Have Speed Control.

I didn't want to deal with the pain of finding the appropriate charger(s) to strip, so I tried looking for a different solution and it led me to this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/130471433227?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 +...

Just found a GREAT alternative for powering pc fans. Need some advice for cooling too

New idea, a fan speed controller that has a DC adapter, like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811999167 $28 is more than I'd prefer to spend, though, I like cost efficiency. Seems like someone in Asia could sell the same thing for a lot less. You would gain fan...

Just found a GREAT alternative for powering pc fans. Need some advice for cooling too

Balls! There should be an adapter for PC fans or fans made specifically to plug into outlets. This is a great profit opportunity, where are the entrepreneurs? Are there any good alternatives to pc fans?

Will 4 quarts of nutrients be enough for two plants?

2 plants in 3 gallon coco-coir hempy buckets under 400w MH, then HPS, no cloning, started from seed. Just a rough estimate. It would be inconvenient if I ran out during the grow. I'm still undecided on what to use. I'm leaning toward Lucas formula along with cal/mag, so either General...

What size duct you need for a 6 inch fan + cool master tube? Need quick answer.

This is the fan I have: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003YFADW8/ref=oh_details_o05_s02_i00 Surprisingly I could find no discussion of how to set up the duct, probably because it should be such a simple thing to do. Does it have to be a 6 inch duct, or larger than the diameter of the fan...
