I dont see why not. I would give them transision time. By that i mean don't turn the hps off until they were in full sunlight type thing because the plant could misunderstand the 2 sunrise\sundowns caused by the transisions. But im high sitting on the toiet waking n baking with my playbook...

Less is more when it comes to nutes. I rarely use more than 75% of the recommended dosage. I know this does not help you at this point, but the good news is you learned something & your next grow will be better! I hope you get them back though. Trust me from experience it gets better, try again.
