I partially agree. I think a plant should be flushed if mineral and/or chemical ferts are used, but only like a week before harvest at most. With organic growing, it's not a problem (at least it hasn't been for me) and there is no reason you can't feed up until harvest.

You probably won't know until you smoke it. Even then, odds are you'll never know.
