    side growth at 2 weeks?

Snow White plant is now 2 weeks old. The lowest 2 sets of fan leaves are drooping and yellowing with brown spots/patches. Can anyone help, please? I'm not sure what it is or how to fix it. I know it's kind of a vague description, so I will post a pic when I get home from work.

    side growth at 2 weeks?

Well, as you can see here, she definitely survived. She's grown three nodes in less than a week. Although she's a bit behind for being almost a month old, it's fine with me, because I'm probably going to veg her out until Snow White is ready anyway, and just flower both at the same time. And...

    side growth at 2 weeks?

The first two are a couple pics of the survivor, you can see damage along the edges of the bottom leaves from that dreaded day. The third is of baby Snow White, roughly 3 days since she sprouted. Looks like her very first set of leaves will be 3-point. All pics taken just a few minutes ago...

    side growth at 2 weeks?

She's definitely alive and growing, even if the growth is slow. I'm sure she took a lot of damage/stress to both her leaves and roots during the last week or so, so slow growth is to be expected for a while. Center growth has resumed, as well as side growth increasing. I'm hoping she's back on...

    side growth at 2 weeks?

I think it may be on the slow road to recovery. The newer center growth has definitely grown a little bit since the last pictures. A very little bit, but still a good sign in my book. I will still be keeping my fingers crossed. Still waiting for Snow White to sprout but it hasn't been long, so...

    side growth at 2 weeks?

Here are a couple pictures of my poor little plant about an hour after the incident, and now, about 15 minutes ago. I decided to take a risk and cut off the leaves that were shriveled and dry, you can see them laying in the background off the second pic. I figured this would be the best choice...

    Stem Discoloration

Looks fine to me too, greens and light browns are normal for the stems. A couple curious questions: 1. In your pics it looks like you used that thick metal tape (I forget the proper name) in the backgrounds, how is it working for you? I used it to line the inside of a home made reflector and...

    side growth at 2 weeks?

It doesn't get the name "Weed" for nothing, and we all know those little buggers can take a lot of punishment. My only concern is that if it does survive, the sex and overall growth/yield may be affected. Seeing as how this particular plant, although it was some really decent product, was still...

    side growth at 2 weeks?

It definitely wasn't the soil. The plant was actually doing pretty good in the MG. No burn, steady growth, it was about 2 weeks old, no more than 2.5 inches tall and about 4 inches wide, with 3 levels of leaves, 1 point, 3 point, and 5 point, with side growth starting on the lowest level. One of...

    side growth at 2 weeks?

Well, even though it was uprooted and on the verge of death, I stuck the plant back into some soil, and I'm hoping it is a survivor. The first couple layers of established leaves are clearly dead, but the new growth looks as if it might survive. I'll post pics later, and keep hoping for the...

    side growth at 2 weeks?

Well ... this grow has been terminated. For any and all of you out there with a cat, make sure it can't get into your grow unsupervised ... I may reattempt soon, I'll be sure to post if I do.

Yes, I started using a fan almost immediately after sprouting. I want to keep the plant nice and strong and keep the air circulating. It's a normal 3 speed house fan, and I run it at medium power. I will be getting something a little more suitable, but I had it on hand, and it does the job for now.

    Welcome New Members!

As I'm sure many people do, I've been reading/researching a lot, and finally decided to register. I now feel comfortable experimenting with and learning from my first "real" grow. Many thanks go out for all I've learned so far. I'm 2-3 weeks into veg, and have started a journal and thread. I'm...

    side growth at 2 weeks?

Sooo, after posting, I just went ahead with the snap decision to remove the smaller plant grown from the low quality seed. I already made the rookie mistake of originally planting them in the same pot, and they were growing too close together. My main concern was aimed at transplanting, because...

    side growth at 2 weeks?

I will definitely go with something better than MG next time. I'm using it because it was already in the house, and this grow is basically to help me sort out my newb-ness, because I know I have a lot to learn. The plant pictured seems like it's doing pretty well so far, but I am keeping a close...

    side growth at 2 weeks?

Hello, I've been reading for a while and decided to throw in a few cents of my own. I recently decided to start a very small grow for learning purposes. I've grown a plant in the past, but we won't speak of that any more as it was a total failure. Now, I have a couple plants, 2 and 3...
