so i managed to grow this size of a plant keep in mind i wanted to keep the plant as small as possible yet also making a decent yield. this one wasnt the biggest but it is my favorite. from this much soil... with a top cola that looked like this... discuss.

they are wet now. how much do ya think this'll weigh dry?

i'm gonna try it, well i just tossed a bunch of leafs into a box with some crumpled up newspaper and leaving it in a dry, warm place. anyone else try this?

it does for a day or two depending on the strength of the plant. i've done it on strong plants and they barely notice and it helps put a lot more light on the lower buds so they fully mature. also if you look closely at the buds on your plant usually the cola will mature faster.

i woulnt go by weeks, go by growth, keep them 18" away. some people hang a measured string from their light so when the string starts hitting the level of the top of the plants you know its time to raise it. i started some seeds under a 400w HPS once, but i had the light really far away...

i'd wait awhile, hard to say without some very close up pics of the buds.

i usually stuff a bud inside the chamber of my pocket pipe so it resins up and ends up a load of black goo after awhile, very smokeable! gets ya high as stink

yup does look a little early, i took the cola off of one of my plants just to keep me going while the other plants grow more. the smaller buds below getting much more light quickly got much much bigger. i always do this.

i've heard of it done before lots of times but i think with todays tehcnology you would get caught very fast.

i try to stay away from MH mostly because of the freakin' heat the put out! also i have seen some buds from a Mh only and they were nothing like the usual HPS. they did smoke well but i would still try for HPS conversion bulb or something. g'luck
