Aeroponic Medium vs. No Aeroponic Medium

i usually receive clones in small rockwool cubes, which can be put into small net pots, or into bigger net pots with some hydroton around it, either way is good a few other people i've seen use coco as well, i would imagine you would want some support for when the plants get larger.. regards

    DWC build

depends how you want to do it, will you have smaller bubblers for when the plants are seedlings? and you can just transfer the pots to the bigger bubblers as they grow? you may as well cram as many in there as possible, leave barely an inch between the edge of each pot... regards

    Molasses. Substitutes?

Can't get rid of root rot

i'd definately try the measured amount of some stronger H202, and is the air you put through the airstones 66-84F ? if the air is creeping up towards 84 that won't go nicely with the resevoir temps being lower... as GringoLoco mentioned, what nutrients? and have you tried others? BlueyBong...

Max Nute PPM for Ebb & Flow

i personally do veg as 1.5EC (1050ppm truncheon), then ramp up to 1.8EC (1260ppm) for first 3 weeks of flowering, then usually step up to 2.0-2.2EC (1400-1540ppm) as a maximum.. 2000ppm seems a bit rough, but i could be wrong... note: the above conversions taken from...

    Led Lights?

ye it doesn't compare, that being said their are led units that can do a reasonable job, but they're 4 times the price of a hps light, and even though they're cheaper to run, they're more expensive to purchase... and even though the leds last ages, they're not replaceable... its really not...

anybody using a portable air conditioner

i'm using a portable aircon in one of the rooms at the moment, the side the sun hits when it comes up... i've just got the exhaust ducting tied in after the carbon filter, and it puts cold air into the room the cube is in, then the cold air in the room gets sucked into the cube and goes from...

    High tap PH + PPM

adjusting the ph won't have any adverse affects, the ppm shouldnt be an issue, mine is around 480, nutrients say to do the desired EC or PPM ontop of the water EC/PPM anyway..

    The Perfect Hydro Medium (Allegedly)

you could just do a run to waste dripper system, but as clay rocks don't hold all that much water, as mentioned in the above post you would need multiple drippers & run them all day, it is also expensive, heavy, and a pain in the arse to clean, although it is re-usable... this fyto stuff...

    Rising Ph

what roseman said is perfectly correct, but for arguments sake (generally speaking), if you ph is is getting lower over a quick period of time your plants are using more water than they are nutrients (more nutes lowers pH), so to level your amounts out a bit, drop your overall EC slightly...

    The Perfect Hydro Medium (Allegedly)

hi guys, upon some bowls & a small moisture check before the plants goto sleep... i was wondering why there wasnt a foam style medium that had the perfect water and oxygen retention / percentage (as pretty much everything is prone to overwatering) then upon searching on the google, i found...

LPS lighting (not HPS)... anyone ever used them??

my googling uncovered the following: hydroponic-shop.com reckons: Often mistaken for HPS. Also give off a red light. No good for growing, unless stunting cuttings. n-g-w.com said the following: lps can be used for side lighting, but the main growing lamps should be MH or HPS...

Help me out with some advice please...

plant them towards then end of spring, so they're a small plant by the time the summer heat comes around, remember the later you plant them (the closer to autumn/winter), the smaller they'll be for you to get 800grams you should plant as early as possible, about 1/2-2 months before the...
