    I've added nematodes for gnats. Had to order them no stores near me keep those ones. All they had were the nematodes for grubs. Does anyone else out the have natural or organic methods. I will try them and post my findings

    I don't think you need to toss it. Chris trump and drake on YouTube say it should last a while if you have a lot of brown sugar it. Check out both of their videos.

    I'd use it in a heart beat. But with all that GREEN material you'll need BROWN carbon rich material. Straw. Fall leaves. Etc.

    As far as I know it's only fruits and veggies that come into the country. Farmers markets sell locally grown produce so no I wouldn't think so. But ask at the farmers market the are almost always happy to answer any questions.

    You can also take some rice and half cook it, put it in some nylons and bury it around the base of a large tree in some old woods. Or at the base of some bamboo. I'd go for the tree cause bamboo doesn't grow in Canada
