I'd say be patient....if you grow in your parents house imagine what they'd think you'd be doing in your own house...if you want to be stealth, be patient. Parents are snoopy man, as sneaky as you think they are, they've been sneakier (I swear thats a word)

most lights are pretty damn bright....stand outside your box or room with the light on inside it. if you see light leaking out....well its not a one way street

Ya, no harm done, let it get at least that dry between each watering or you will run into problems for sure
