For side under light i use a extension cord with the plug you can get at home depot. It is 2 prong for a outlet and has a light socket on the other side. I then use a y light adapter that lets you have 2 lights in one socket. You can then use them to fill a power strip to give under lighting.

One cheap way to deal with smell is to mix fabreeze with water then put it in one of the cheep humidifier. Run it like 15 min every hour next to the outside of the tent. Also the glade plugin oils with the fans on them work well to cover. I use the lavender/Vanilla outside the grow room. Inside...

I started 12/12 around Dec 28th. The plants where about 6 to 10 inches. Now they are 15 to 18 inches. As you can see the leaves are getting frosty. I may get some bags to make hash with them.

You can get some inexpensive led lights from http://www.chinavasion.com/search?q=led+grow&Submit=GO not sure of the quality. I have bought a radio and LCD monitors from them and they work very well. I may order the $60 one to test with.

Drinking lots of water works pretty well for me. It stops the muchies and deals with the cotton mouth. Before i vaporize i fill a nagien bottle with cold water. Before the high kicks in I start to drink the water.

I second KingKannibus. Some strains will show pre-flowers if left in veg long enough.
