LARA Audits MMJ Doctors
Audit Says Doctor Sees 11,800 Patients a Year- Waiting Rooms Still Full
LARA has just released the results of an audit of medical marijuana certification doctors. As always, they are making a big play that less that 25 doctors have seen some 56% of all certification...
You know, I actually kind of like this idea. Problems is many will not have their records in hand. Truth be told, I'd just as soon certify them and get them off the harmful drugs, but I wouldn't be able to back it up in court.
One thing I am going to stress is to have certifications treated like prescriptions- at work, in court, at the doctor's office. I am tired of trying to convince a judge that taking a probation patient off cannabis and putting them on high dose narcotics to comply with his/her order is a really...
As you know, I am running in the 97th District (Arenac, Gladwin, Clare and Osceola Co). My opponent is a former police officer and feels, like all criminals, marijuana users should be in jail. Obviously we need someone a little more balanced in Lansing, and I've received the endorsement of...
Unfortunately, you probably won't be seeing any more voter initiatives from grass roots efforts due to their recent rule change. You know, the one they quietly passed and put into immediate effect while we were going crazy over where someone in a dress got to pee.
I am not sure what you mean by 'admitted he would have voted for these bills' references... Are you suggesting that by saying that I would have supported a set of bills that created dispensaries in Michigan, even if an imperfect way, was wrong?
www.GrassMatch.com It is a great time to be a caregiver, with the very high prices in dispensaries, your services are needed more than ever. Sign up a few new patients today.

We are all good, and trust me, I understand venting. My biggest issue with the legislature is that they simply don't care. Every time a law changes someone makes some money, they then take some of that money and put it into races to make sure they get more changes to enable them to make more...
Taking out the competition is certainly a risk, that is why we need advocates on the floor voting rather than lobbyists trying to educate those that don't want to learn. Is it better to try and teach Jones about the benefits of cannabis or replace his sorry ass with someone that is more open...
Let's clarify something. Dispensaries are not currently, nor have they ever been, legal. The only system in place is the caregiver/patient system (and of course self growing patients). I am very upset that caregivers were not given permission to sell overages to the new provisioning centers...
That's a good question. I don't like it, I don't like the approach- preferring the farmers market system rather than our own version of 'big cannabis'. I clearly would have lobbied for a means for caregivers to put overages in a farmers market setting and if elected may yet try for that.
As...
