is there any way i can force them to flower by controlling how much light they get?

So I've been trying to grow a bunch of pretty flowers, and i was just wondering, how long does it take before the flowers actually start growing? when ever i go to the store and see like pots for sale with flowers already in them, they are small pots with small plants inside, and the flowers are...

well they're not crispy, just limp as hell, its possible that they will stand right back up?

so I've moved my grow op into a smaller stealth box ( a modified cooler) for them to grow with out anyone seeing them.. and I've made the mistake of assuming that the new box is adequate in terms of temperature.. the box has a fan propelled intake, and no exhaust.. and has a y-split 2 23W CFL...

not magic mushrooms.. I'm going to grow bio luminescent mushrooms (glow in the dark mushrooms), I bought the spores online and i will be planting them..and i was just wondering if there is a way to like clone them? so that way i can start with say 6 mushrooms and keep cloning them until i can...

and my temps are a pretty steady 75-78 F degrees..and yes,the fan is that white thing on the bottom

the first pic you can see the set up i have here. are the bottom plants to far from the big CFL? too close and they're burning.. and the second picture is a close up of my plants that are burning.. the ends are all drying up and shriveling.. any advice?

so i recently changed my crappy cooler-grow box to a small indoor green house, and i bought a new 40W (equal to 150watt) CFL light, and the plants have been growing fine, but I've been noticing that some of them are like drying a lot on the ends and the ends of the leaves are like breaking off...
