Just how bad was the burn? Any pics?

1 inch = bad 3-4 inch = good There may not be alot of heat from the lights but it will still burn them if too close. A good rule of thumb is 3-4 inches mabye 2 but still best at 3-4. I keep mine at 3 1/2 and raise them every other day by one chain link. Hope you have better luck with this.

If you satrt with hermie seed you get hermi plant. I would find the plant you want make sure it female and just make clones It less problems.

I would buy a couple peaces of pvc pipe big enough to fit over the hole and and put a couple of angles so light wil not travel up the tube. On the intake side I would first angle it behind the box and then down so no light will travel and I would take the tube close to the floor to get good cold...

Looks ok. If you plant is leaning just prop her up for a while and as for watering, wating is good to get air down ther but when the leaves start to wilt hurry up and water and she will stand agian in 2ish hours. Best of luck

I agree. YOu can get a few grows before you need to replace the bulb if you are on a 12/12 but not on a 18/6 or 24/0

To just say replace after to grows is not enough info as to when that is because I can make one grow last longer than the bulb. So it is better to replace at half life. To find out what the half life is just read the package your light comes in. For example it makes 20,000 hours of light. Well...

Every light comes with what is called half life and at that time the light is no longer at full strength also at anytime pass the half life the bulb can and will burn out/stop working. For best results it is always better to replace the light just after half life.
