This stem is from plant 2 the 6.5 ft on the left. The taller two are plant 3 at 8-9ft and plant 1 at 9-10ft. Plant 4 is hiding between the thistles. Take a look at the early pics, there is a drink cup in some of those.

Thats how a friend does it. He puts a few seeds in dozens of spots and then comes back later to cut males. Not the best method of growing but it does work. It's more of a numbers game since most of his grows get eaten by deer.

It takes less water if you do it in the coolest hours of the day. It really doesn't matter when you water but do it when you have the time or feel like it.
