    What LED's to get

To get anywhere with leds you're going to need at least 200w. Try to keep all the diodes at least 1w. Cree's are the best I know of

Is this going to be enough light??

In my opion, for a box the size you're talking about, a 250w w/ hortilux , and a cool tube. An electric ballast would help. As far as the 420w mh, you may want to double check me, but I think without an insane amount of ventilation, it may get a little too toasty. As far as what you've got in...

    perfect led grow light?

It all comes down to penetration, 1 watt crees seem to be doing an adequate job, but not quite there yet. For those of us, 40 year old adolescents with some capital, with the means would like to see a unit with higher output individual diodes.

Dub rules I hear ya these fuckers are outrageously expensive for the results you get, but I believe it all comes down to the individual growers unique growing conditions, we'll see what happens in a couple years, prices come down etc

beating the led horse to death

no problem, I would suggest sniping up a ufo on e-bay for like a hundred bucks, if you're interesred. I'm using 3 to supplement my hps, it's that or use em for paper weights.

I know, I know, I'm back to my trusty hortilux hps- nothing can beat it, but this grow was amusing. felt like I was 3 again playing with lite brites. I used 3 660 nm red 90w ufos, the one in the middle has the hid hut satellite system- 8 5w...
