What can you do if it's gotten too dry after putting in jar?

Yeah, I should find one of those...I live in BFE, so that will have to be a special expedition into town. :)

Overfertilisation? Dead? Crusty Leafs? PLEASE HELP

You should have posted in plant problems....but I'd say your problem is that your plants are pretty much dead. I'm sorry, but it doesn't look good for them. :(

Gotta take em out early :'( blue berrys/purples 40 days in

I like the moving box idea. You could just assemble without the bottoms or cut the bottom out and tape up the top, mark it FRAGILE. Cover 'em up, if they smell, run the AC/fan and bake some cookies or make some coffee to mask it. How many plants? I'd do it for mine, that's for damn sure. WAY...

What can you do if it's gotten too dry after putting in jar?

Thanks, everybody - I just put a bit of wet (but not drippy) papertowel in a steel tiny tea strainer (so it wouldn't touch the bud), which seemed to be a good way to do it. I didn't know if there might be another way besides the "traditional" humidifier methods. God knows I've done all of the...

What can you do if it's gotten too dry after putting in jar?

Checked jars today. One jar that wasn't very full has gotten rather crispy. What can I do? Is there a safe method to rehydrate and go a little backwards to continue the curing? It's a bit harsh still. Thanks in advance!

Amber Trichomes - Do They Exist?

I'm with ya there - my first two plants I harvested still smell a little hay-like in the jars and they never really "sweated". I'm thinking they dried too fast while hanging but I couldn't slow them down any more (I even went and got a humidifier!). I am waiting to harvest my other ones - they...

    trichs, microscope, digital blue, 60x

Big Lots, but they are on eBay too. Check your computer's compatibility though, you need to have a USB port and run a PC. (It doesn't work without a computer - the computer powers the lighting mechanism.)

    spider mites at harvest

Hey there - I went through nasty spider mite infestation(s) and here's what I found out (not sure if this is true for everyone). The spider mites don't like the leaves with trichs on them. They don't like goo on their little mite feet. Sure, the fan leaves etc were damaged, but even with 60x...

    trichs, microscope, digital blue, 60x

Yeah, but I'm waiting out for amber or the plants to look like they can't pump anything else into the flowers. I think I harvested Millie and Maimie a little early and I would like to get some couch lock out of the girls that are ripening right now. bongsmilie

    trichs, microscope, digital blue, 60x

I think they have different ranges of magnification. The 60x is perfect for this, so if the Z has that, it's great. I don't know without looking it all up again though.

Ready for harvest? Hopefully close? PICS

hey there - wait it out! please look at my grow journal - by looking at my plants, you'd think they were ready, but they aren't. Trixie's hairs are more amber than yours, but when I look at her trichs under 60x microscope, she's just starting to get milky. Plus, if you quick dry something and...

The storm fucked it up today...

I hear ya. The amount of time I put into these plants from April to now is ridiculous, but it's been fun and interesting. My husband was laughing saying the priorities shifted to dog, husband to plants, dog, husband. I told him that the dog can't help trim, so really, it's husband, plants, dog...

    Brown and out!!

Hey boistlyboist - Check out my photos of Trixie and Bessie in my grow journal. I am having leaf die-off while the plant is maturing (it's been going on for about 2 weeks?) and the rest of the plant, including buds, continue to grow and mature. I was nervous too, but it seems that it's all...

The storm fucked it up today...

The rest of the plant should be fine. One of mine (Etta) had a whole bunch of branches get broken off beyond what I could tape up/repair so they would keep growing but recovered just fine. Nice plant! :leaf:
