Ahh I see, I forgot about the spread from a 90 degree lens. Sounds good to me :-D

LED, Inda-Gro Induction, Plasma, CMH, MH or HPS? This may help you decide...

I read some where on here that far red was good for flowering. Ahhh, here it is. Stardustsailor said this in a thread a week or two ago. "Notice how much less transmitance and reflectance ,occur after 700 nm ,during flowering .... Cannabis absorbs those wls during flowering ... Massively ,in...

LED, Inda-Gro Induction, Plasma, CMH, MH or HPS? This may help you decide...

I have been trying to come up with a custom spectrum for some flowering bars myself. I guess my only question at the moment is. Can you set the bloom bars and veg bars up effectively enough to mix the two spectrum for flowering? I could see it being fairly easy with one of their Spydr fixtures...

IF you are new to LED and want help choosing what to buy, POST HERE!

Of course, you can put them in the mail and send them my way lol. Nah seriously, I was just pointing out that there are quite a few people here on the forum in the led section doing diy lights with the exact COBs you found. I hope you enjoy them and grow many gorgeous buds my friend.

It definitely is. Especially when it comes to diy COB setups.

Lmao, it wouldn't surprise me at all if we found out that who ever lost that hardware was a frequent visitor here at the led section on rollitup.

I have been wanting to try something similar after reading about it in this article. "Organic Hydroponics A simple way to use organic nutrients with a hydroponic system" http://www.cannabisculture.com/articles/1534.html

    RO System

I have been looking at this one myself. I don't know jack or have any experience with RO systems but this one does add cal/mag and I haven't seen many others doing that. HydroGardener® Pro Highlights Exceptional Purification - removes up to 99% of chlorine, chloramines, chemicals, heavy...

    Gavita Pro 270e LEP

I have been reading quite a bit about the latest plasma lights here recently. So I will repost what I said in another thread regarding the Gavita Plasmas and another plasma horticulture light called "Rocket Plasma". I am interested in the Rocket Plasma myself. Strictly for personal growing. I am...

Mixing White & Multi Spectrum Chip LEDs to Grow MedMan Silver Skunk BX1

I totally agree with the best implementation of small leds comment you made. It is a very versatile light. I want to get one or two and use them to vertically surround the plants with the bars running along the stems. One spydr on each side with two or three plants growing in the middle would be...

Which one now? LED or CMH

Yeah, I hear you on that. Its actually 4500hr-5000hr before the mostly red spectrum starts to dissipate I believe. Not really any different from changing out your HID bulb every other grow or so though.

Which one now? LED or CMH

Nice find, I was under the impression that the Rocket Plasma was the only horticultural plasma using the Topanga technology but. This Alphalite plasma appears to be using it as well. I believe both the Rocket Plasma and Alphalite are using the APL400-4000A "Back-fed" from Topanga shown here...

Which one now? LED or CMH

Gavita is referring to their own specific plasma lights when they say that. Not plasma lights in general. I am not saying the Rocket Plasma will flower any better than the Gavita plasma lamps but in theory it should. Considering the color temperature for the Rocket Plasma is suppose to be around...

    ROCKET PLASMA GROW

Ahhh i see, i will only be using the plasma for my personal medicinal needs. My focus is more on quality than quantity and I should be able to grow more than enough in a 4'x4' footprint for myself. If you need multiple lights to fill your lighting footprint, I can see where your concern lies...

I will probably give them a call once it comes time for me to get serious about purchasing a light.

    ROCKET PLASMA GROW

Fyi the cheapest I have found them being sold online is $869.95 for one and $1599.95 for two. http://4hydroponics.com/rocket-plasma-system

    ROCKET PLASMA GROW

Personally, I am still just an observer that is interested in maybe purchasing this plasma in the future. So I have no 1st hand experience but. Gcrumpets another subscriber on this forum has one and reported 233 watts at the wall in his thread. So in my opinion, I have no reason to not believe...

    ROCKET PLASMA GROW

They did a cost analysis in the blog section on the rocket plasma website if those are the type of numbers you are looking for. http://www.rocketplasma.com/2014/04/how-rocket-plasma-energy-savings-adds-up/ "For the purpose of discussion, we are simply going to use the national average of $.12...

JUST A THREAD POSITIVE PEOPLE WANTED

Yeah, the 230 watts is one of the main reasons I like it. It pulls less power than any of the other plasma lighting fixtures I have seen.
