hey man, 4" fan cools my 600w cool tube made for 6" just fine, might grab 6" stuff when they start stinking but for veg it circulates fine and keeps bulb cool. it looks like your light may be off centered and to far away- it may just be the photo but it looks like your sprout it REALLY tall...

thanks man, that one is twice as tall as some of the others. the others range is height from 6-9" not including the solo cup ;)

So since the one girl shot strait to the sky I threw together a cheapo net for the scrog. I used some 1/2" pvc, some plastic garden netting/fence stuff I had laying around and some solid core plastic coated wire. floor space is at a premium in my tent so i hung from ceiling- basically ran wire...

Decided to after I saw a thread on autoflower.net by "think different - dutch passion" he got just under 23oz off 1000w 4x4 scrog ... best auto grow I've ever seen.

No real update. Havn't looked at em since I watered last night. I'm hoping tomarrow when I unzip I see a little leveling out of the plants. I'll prolly run to home depot this weekend and get some netting for the scrog. I gotta do a little reading into how far off the pots to put the net and...

I would have, just to see what happened. more then likely one would thrive killing the other, but ifnot it would make for one of the meanest looking plants ever

I read an interesting grow the other day, the guy put his in total darkness for like 36 or 48hrs before chop and they changed color SIGNIFICANTLY... may wanna read into it.

I was trying to figure out a cheap way to make a fixture that I was only going to use for a week or two- got the sockets for under $3 each, a peice of pvc pipe for like $5, a bunch of t's and shit for like $3 and the wire bar for like $2, 4x2 way splitters for like $2, I had the lampcord laying...

good call on the upgrades. next go buy some grow light hangers. they are cheap as dirt on amazon and allow you to adjust the height of light in seconds... Make sure they have the metal gear and not the plastic gear.. i'm pulling up a chair and watching how these turn out after the rocky start.

never watched an led grow from start to finish... until now ;)

no way man- I'll trade you one of my healthy singles for a twin anytime haha. never seen that happen (not that i'm a seasoned veteran though) and I got a feeling it will make for a cool plant.. just my 2c but i'd grow the hell out of it.. so far the grow looks good and I';; be watching.

when to switch (for me) is allways dictated by grow space and timeline... If there is no restrictions on either one then don't switch til its a monster ;) i'll be watching this one :bigjoint:

took a quick shot today. they are looking fairly healthy and growing as expected. the one on the right seems to think this is a race for height. the only thing I could think of is placement under light so I switched them around putting the shortest one where the tallest one was and so on down...

A cfl guy will need to chime in but i'm pretty sure your still to far away with those lights... they look happy and healthy but i'd drop the light so that the reflector is just above the plants- so the lights are on the tops and sides of plants, then spin the pots daily to distribute the light...
