So you don't think that it is being slowed by the cold then? Would it help, putting it into the airing cupboard? Or would that encourage rot?

Its been in soil for a couple of days now, but still hasn't come to the surface :( D'ya think I should put it back into the airing cupboard for a while? I mean, could it be that my room is simply too cold for the fledgling herb? Any help would be nice, thanks!

Did you put them into soil as soon as the root poked? or are you gonna wait for the root to get bigger? I put mine straight into soil as soon as it split, was this a mistake?

Thanks for the help guys! Ill look into lights soon then, I should have a seedling emerging in the next few days, so ill get him some sunshine. I think ill go with daylight until she gets too big to be on display, and then get that light from e-bay. Thanks again!

That is a nice looking setup man. I would think that it could get a little bit crowded in there if all of those pots are expected to mature. Im sure you will be fine. :)

Update, Seed has cracked, about 48 hours after wetting. Transferred to peat pellet. In hindsight, I may have buried the poor thing a bi tight in there, but hopefully it should push it's way through. Just out of interest, can anone tell me if it is right or not to remove the seed husk from the...
