ill be getting cuttings soon for a grow in NFT and i was wondering how exactly this would work. the time i will be getting the cuttings i will not know any time within the next 4 days how would i soak the rockwool if i don't know when he is bringing them? can i just leave the cuttings...

i have exactly the same setup, i have a 24 hour timer, (not digital), i can set it up in 15 mins interviaws, so setting it up for a hour and 15 mins off would be ace as i have it constant at the moment.. is it actually safe to do as there will be no water at all getting to the roots..

depends on what setup you have, you can get like a nutes reservior and it pumps a certain amount of nutes into your main reservior every whenever you want

i have done 5 grows with it, about 50 plants give or take 1 or 2 and only one baby died, wait i have rooted 5 plants for a friend before so thats like 98.5% success rate or somin with clonex do a quick forum search, theres threads just for this stuff, its basic really. theres also several...

as long as you have no animals around the house to destroy the crop keep the door open during light periods, but it depends where the closet is based, if it is far away from the outside door then its unlikely any pests will get in there
