I had a heat problem indoors and used hydroton to mulch my pots and it definitely helped retain moisture in the soil. By red mulch you are refuring to cedar mulch right?

I have to really disagree with you. I use a 1000 watt HPS system in a a 4 by 4 Dark room and it works just fine with my 6" sunleaves windtunnel.

Start two weeks from the expected harvest time and use mild nutes for the first week then just water and molasses for the last week at 1 tbs per gallon. I have also heard that ascorbic acid is good during this time, but have not put it to the test.

I would go with the BioThrive Bloom from the General Organics line by General Hydroponics it is pretty complete. You should probably get a cal-mag supplement and molasses, but that is more than one item.

I recommend you use Iguana Juice, Bud Candy, Liquid Karma (Which you have already), Cal Mag by General Organics. Also you should be using beneficial mycorrizae and bacteria (I recommend Voodoo Juice, but if that is too expensive for you go with Roots Organic Oregonism or Plant Sucess).

I haven't used that type of soil. I prefer Fox Farms Ocean Forest or Sunshine Mix. I would be able to help more if you were a little bit more specific about what you want. Organic or not? Do you need it to be cheap?

The raised edges of the leaves means the plant needs water, it happens when the plant runs out of water to transpire. It looks kinda stressed. Good luck!

I disagree, peak harvest is determined by trichome color not the color of the pistols. Pistols can change brown as early as 3 to 4 weeks into flowering depending on pheno.

Yah I agree Shotzky, I use blackstrap molasses, however I add Botanicare Sweet as well. So that there is complex and non-complex sugars. I have seen amazing results.

I have used Roots Organic Soil and don't recommend it. It gets fungus gnats too often. I use fox farms ocean forest, because its good organic soil with a very low metals count. Try spraying a mixture of peppermint extract and water at the base of the plants to get rid of the fungus gnats.
