    comfirm male

I throw them all in a sealed bucket and after harvest I add them to compost for next year. You can also move it to another area and harvest pollen in a container and save it for future breeding. Don't worry about squeezing the sacs at all. I mean unless you noticeably saw your females exposed to...

    comfirm male

Yes my friend, that is indeed a male. Overtime you'll get a learned confidence regarding sexing. If you ever have a doubt though, let it grow a little more, obviously if we can barely tell yet, risk of pollination is 0. But that one is definitely not a girl.

First ever grow; 600w hps 3 plant SCROG

I was under the assumption that the larger healthy fan leaves was the key component to sugar production for the plant. I have been experimenting with cutting off half of each big fan leaf, with the idea that it still can do its job and allow more light to penetrate. I removed a bit more of the...

First ever grow; 600w hps 3 plant SCROG

Everything below the screen is trimmed off, every bud is above the grid. Although those pictures don't make it look as thought they are. They just got too tall for the screen I feel. Excuse this shitty picture of the underside of a plant, had to take a still from a video I did.

First ever grow; 600w hps 3 plant SCROG

Thanks for the feedback! I assure you lots of tucking was done mostly during vegetative though, but if you saw the under canopy the branches are quick spread out and even look main lined a bit. But yea I think next grow I'll start flowering sooner and I'm also gonna be usin grow bags which I...

First ever grow; 600w hps 3 plant SCROG

Will do, and they got kinda overgrown due to a nutrient lockout right when I was gonna start flowering originally fro overwatering. So it delayed me putting them into flower for a good 3 weeks.

Use the 50 cent cloth reusable Walmart grocery bags. They are bigger than 5 gallon buckets too.

My bad, dark picture, and I just assumed because usually in ground plants don't have drainage issues. Keep us updated with what new growth looks like and stuff

Dead thread due to embarrassment, it seems he's probably no longer interested in an answer, as if there was one.

    How much longer flowering?

If you are able to observe the resin glands degrade then harvest when it's at peak healthy full trichomes, with maybe 10 percent of them being degraded. Otherwise what I'd do is what's the swelling of the bracts each day, and when 70 percent of the pistils have turned brown from age, harvest.

Leaves twisted and curling to all hell

I'm suffering the same problem due to the native soil I used for my current indoor. I would just water it with plain water, filtered if able (although I use tap). And go ahead and try drilling or poking 1/4-1/2 inch hole in the bottom half of the pot its in, that will allow you to flush and...

This is so funny ,for a moment I was also concerned and thought you had planted in January. Haha.

Leaves twisted and curling to all hell

Well it doesn't look like typical heat stress or wind burn or anything. I'm gonna go ahead and say it's probably something to do with the PH being out of whack, and/or a nutrient issue.

    Horse Manure Amendment question.

Just so you know guys, it's odorless, and has been sitting in a buried pile for years, I sifted it to separate any roots or branches, and the occasional lump. I don't think weed seeds would be a problem. But I will be spreading a thick layer of straw mulch over the raised beds.

    Horse Manure Amendment question.

No, I have plants that I'm going to transplant right now, from containers, I already have around 40 plants outdoors, and these are the last to be transplanted, they are sativa dominant, so they have a bit longer growing season.

    Horse Manure Amendment question.

Hey there! Today I went down to the old horse manure pile (My grandma owned 3 horses over 15 years here, and always dumped in one place) and dug up a few trashcan fulls of what i'm assuming is fully composted horse manure. There is a entire plot (30 feet by 20 feet by 5 feet high atleast) of...

Fish Fert in addition to Dr Earth?

Hey there, I was wondering the past few days about some nutrient application. I was using Alaska Fish Fert, the 5-1-1 for a month before I got some Dr Earth vegatable organic dry fertilizer. I side dressed and mixed the dry fertilizer in the beds of the plants. Should I continue to use the fish...
