HID stands for High Intensity Discharge. Metal halide and high pressure sodium lights are HID lights. I run a 150 watt MH and a 150 watt HPS for vegging, and for flowering i run a 400 watt MH and a 400 watt HPS.

I swear by fox farm products. They work very well.

In your case I could see why you would start nutes that early. You hardly have any veg time with those strains.

If you go to the web site I have posted just follow the list if you are going with fox farm nutes. I just follow the chart and have not had a nute burn yet. When you start the new nutes (whatever brand you buy) make sure to only give them like 1/2 a dose at first.

Yeah a swamp cooler is what we put on houses in the desert to keep things cool. They work like an air conditioner just cost alot less to run. It will work for his purpose.

A swamp cooler will add some humidity and decrease heat. You should be ok as long as it does not blow directly on the plants.

You can do it with CFL's. There is a lot of info on this site about them. I use HID lights so I couldn't help you with that part of you question.

That is exactly what I do as well. IMO it is less stressful on the plants.

Keep the soil just flush it and then don't water till she dries out

To flush your plant you use double the amount of soil. Example is 3 gallon container would mean run 6 gallons of ph'd water through the soil.

If you got a single stem plant you could grow it in a locker.

I don't know if I would split it into 2 room though. If you are trying to stay within the law, (6 mature plants, 12 immature plants). You will not need that big of a veg room. Just a cabinet on the wall would be sufficent enough to veg in. It would also be easier to contain light leaks from...

That is a nice set up. This is something I have benn thinking about doing. Did you get a kit or did you do it all from scratch? How much did that cost ya?

It is pretty risky if you ask me. All she has to do is look it up on the net, and BAM your busted.
