I have been thinking about using earthworms in my soil as well. Do you just toss them in when you are filling your containers? Do the nutrients hurt the worms? I use all fox farm products.
You can make hash out of any clippings, leaves, or stems, There is several ways to do it. The first thing you will need to get a decient amount of hash is about a half pound of material.
I am not sure about store bought ones, but the ones in the DIY section you can breath through. You want to suck the air through the filter then out of the box. Do not push the air from the box through the filter, it will act as a cap and just put warm air back into the box

Also when you spray them down get the undersides of the leaves. That's where they hang out. Do not saturate your buds either. If you over spray them you could develop mold. Just mist the leaves every other day or so.
Yes right before lights go out. You should also try to drop the temp in the grow room to about 65 to 70 with lights out if that is possible. The mites do not like the cold. This might stop them but will not kill them. They are hard as hell to get rid of.

you could hang a curtain on the inside of the door so when you open it the light does not beam lout of it. Also search the DIY threads for carbon filter. That should help you out for the smell.
