    First Time Growing Scrog

steal some cfls from bathroom at the library or gas station, your wife's parents house, whatever it takes, and augment those existing lights. And I believe I'm seeing another cal-mag issue. If you got no cash for Calmag, crush up some tums or rollaids, for the cal and some Epsom salts, for the...

    Small plant growing Q's???

I have grown in a party cup from start to finish with one cfl. Having said that, if you tell us the secret of exactly how much room you have to work with, we will tell you how to maximize that space. In 4 months you'll be telling your dealer to suck your dick cause you'll be growing fire.

    PH Drift....why?

What type of ph down are you using, some products are buffered to the point of uselessness. I mix my own using battery acid, the plants love the sulphur and it is rock steady. You may also want to add a silica additive to your nute solution. While the initial addition of silica will raise your...

    First timer Leafs bleaching out?

It looks like a cal issue to me, what with the light color striations on the leaf margins. I would lower my acidity and go for the cal-mag. Calmag has calcium, magnesium, and an N value that I think will cure your ills. This is my take on it, do not trust the fate of your crops on any single...

I need a more precise guideline for watering than "feel the weight, duderino".

If your doing a DWC in a tote, the lifting the plant container method won't work. I hope this helps.

5x4x6 flowering space ,type of lights? need help please

I'm sure you are aware of the rule of thumb, 40 watts per square foot for veg, and 50 to 60 per square foot for flower. Having said that, some strains do much better than others for a given amount of lumens. If you decide to scrog, 600 may be perfect. The quality of bulb will parallel the...

(Hydro) changing water during flowering stage?

I use tap water, never change my rez, as a matter of fact, I threw two plants that were in soil along with about two cups of happy frog into a netcup, in one tote. I never flush, and I use battery acid for my ph down. I guess I've really been dodging a bullet for the last few years cause every...

    My first grow ever

Ditch the Hygrozyme. Looks like a Hydroheart system. Your plants look great. You ARE going to have root issues, the system is not canna friendly. I realize the makers of this system promise "mad ass grows", but its not in the cards. I hope you buck the trend and make me eat my words. Peace bro.

    Myths That's All They Are

I cut my plants flush with the top of my tote when I harvest. I have found this to be the only effective and useful "flush" method.
