when i germinate seeds for soil i put them in a cup of water until they sink, usually a day, then i wrap them in a moist papertowel and keep it moist until they start to sprout. You can put them in rockwool when they look like a little sperm or you can keep them wrapped up until the shell comes...

Last year I started a plant outside and then brought it inside when it got to big to hide from my neighbors. When I did I brought all kinds of mites and fungus.

as for the lighting i like 18/6 because i found that light 24/7 had made my plants harder to take care of to me they seem more sensitive. But the more light the better.

is the white on the leaves powdery? if it is it could be "powdery mildew" or "fungus botrytis". these are usually caused by high humidity and no air flow. any fungicide will solve this problem (if thats the case) as for the yellowing if the yellowing started at the base you fed the plant to...
