    8 x12 ft room and a $1000

www.plantlightinghydroponics.com Do yourself a favor and buy quality equipment...it will cost you a few extra dollars at the beginning, but it will pay for itself in the long run. I would hold off for the time being and save up a few bucks...a quality 1k setup is going to run you $500 by...

Ideal-Air Commercial Air Conditioner - 21,000 BTU. Will This Work For My Situation??

I read your post, but it doesn't make sense to me...why can't you seal the room? Even if it is a rental...you aren't damaging any property by sealing the room...especially if you're paying utilities...you have the right to make your home more efficient...rental or not. As far as holes in...

Ideal-Air Commercial Air Conditioner - 21,000 BTU. Will This Work For My Situation??

I'm sorry guys...I'm not here to argue...I was on my phone so I'm sorry if my posts came off short or dickish...or short dickish lol. The problems I have with this is I think sealing off the room, ducting the heat from the lights out of the room, and going with the smaller unit is the way to go...

Automatic nutrient refill systems - Anyone use one, or know of a good DIY way?

I didn't count filling the res as "time spent"...install a float valve...then it will only take you 10 mins lol

Ideal-Air Commercial Air Conditioner - 21,000 BTU. Will This Work For My Situation??

If you can find a credible HVAC publication that recommends installing an oversized air conditioner I'd be interested in reading it...a dehumidifier will only run at night (lights off) with a properly sized A/C. A dehumidifier will run (close to) continuously with an oversized A/C in a sealed...

Ideal-Air Commercial Air Conditioner - 21,000 BTU. Will This Work For My Situation??

You're right...they aren't rated for lights, but a good rule of thumb is 4k BTUs of cooling capacity per 1k of lighting. Oversizing an A/C is never a good idea...a dehumidifier is ok because it will remove more moisture in a shorter period of time...and power draw between a 60 pint and a 100...

Automatic nutrient refill systems - Anyone use one, or know of a good DIY way?

I'm not trying to shoot down your idea, but 10 mins once a week or once every 2 weeks is far from slavery...and unless the solenoids are linked to an ec/ppm or ph monitoring device you're still going to have to monitor those numbers...do you plan on cleaning the reservoir or just topping off...

    LIST:HELP ME PULL THE TRIGGER(14'x15' room) 6- Flower X 1K+T5's-Veg. 2-Ton mini Split

I would advise against Digilux bulbs. In fact, I would advise against getting anything from CAP (R&M Supply)...I've seen a lot of problems with CAP products over the years...nothing beats a Hortilux bulb IMO.

Automatic nutrient refill systems - Anyone use one, or know of a good DIY way?

Finding an affordable...and accurate...solenoid will be difficult...I've thought about setting up something similar, but ultimately decided against it...too much automation can be a bad thing IMO...time in the garden is time well spent.

Ideal-Air Commercial Air Conditioner - 21,000 BTU. Will This Work For My Situation??

Both...this is a 2k watt grow...in a tent. If it was an oversized permanently constructed room then Ideal-Air's 12k unit would at least make sense. Oversizing a dehumidifier is a good idea...air conditioners on the other hand...bigger isn't always better. And I think a chiller is...

Ideal-Air Commercial Air Conditioner - 21,000 BTU. Will This Work For My Situation??

Way overkill...their 21k BTU unit is good for a 4k watt sealed room with a CO2 generator.

I am constantly fighting Powdery Mildew(PM)

    More fans...Potassium Silicate...worst case scenario grab a Sulphur evaporator/vaporizer

    Two weeks into first grow

How much water have you given it? It looks pretty wet there...let it dry out a bit. Wet--dry--wet--dry cycle is very important for root growth...they won't grow if they never have to search for water. When you say outdoors do you mean it's out there now or that's where it's going to end up...

    Eagle20?

IMHO...I would recommend against using Eagle 20ew...that stuff is poison. Add a few extra fans and use (if you aren't already) a Potassium Silicate product...worst case scenario think about adding a Sulphur evaporator. I'm not an organic freak, but Eagle is hardcore.
