Interesting. What do you look for in a good mag ballast? Whats a good brand. There are so many china made models that they sell ridiculously cheap it terrifys the hell out of me to run that in my house. I was looking for a 250W.

Do you have a link for your 4" ruck fan and filter? Been thinking about picking up something like that.

I just watched a video review of it and it seems like it might be too loud for my cab. I have a 3 speed house fan I might try mounting the motor and blades inside a box and see how that goes. Would you have any recommendations on a decent carbon filter for 6" duct? Thanks for the help. +REP

Yeah, I was afraid you were going to say that, haha. Thats the fan I was looking at before, but really didn't want to drop that much on it. How are they on noise? Sound is going to be a problem for me. Whatever I end up getting I'll probably put in a MDF box.

Damn, that must be nice, my box gets hot as shit haha. I think I'm going to end up getting a 400W Dimmable and use it on 200-300W, the price of the 250's are basically the same as the 400 and it will be nice to have available if I decide to go bigger. I think I'll be running a cooltube and...

Have you had any personal experience with the iPowers? I was thinking about picking up a 250W HPS from them, but its always hard to pull the trigger on a name I haven't heard a lot about.

Yeah, I think 3 plants is probably all I'd really want to be running anyway. How are the temps in there? I was thinking I'd probably have to run a cool tube to keep the heat down but I see you aren't, how are you venting it?

All thats on a 150W HPS or did you change anything? What size is that cab and how many plants do you have in there? It looks roughly the same size as my area, I've been debating picking up s smaller HPS to rid myself of all the CFL's.
