    Organic, stealth, CFL grow.

Thanks TeaTree OiI, appreciate the comment. This pic shows the Kush just before I started the training (poor quality image, sorry). Soon as I could see preflowers through a glass I re potted then began LST by pulling the top down and bracing the main stem back to avoid strain on the roots. As...

    Organic, stealth, CFL grow.

Update: Day 28 flowering. I have just given them a final bit of training to get all the bud sights as much light as possible. Space is tight, the pots are each 10" and I can just about fit the 3 in there! Anyway I'm happy with them now. The Kush is a 10 week flowering strain to finish her...

    Organic, stealth, CFL grow.

Not sure if anyones actually following this but I'll keep it running anyway for a while! :-) Some of the older images were taken on a phone camera so poor quality. They show the original 7 plants from which I selected the best 3 females. You can see for the first few weeks I was bottom...

What is wrong with this little guy

JB, Carefully tip it upside down and let it slide out into your hand. Examine the roots, if they are brown in colour and not white then the roots are dying. Personally I would repot it to a slightly bigger pot with a some fresh soil for the roots to grow into, thats if they are not too far...

Those carbs are absorbed during the flowering process so no point in adding sugars during the veg period as they will build up in the soil and may cause problems.

help 3 weeks in flowering but buds seem tiny

The guys above has given you your answer :-) They are perfectly normal for that stage, infact look very good indeed. Relax and enjoy them! take it from a grower in his fifties whos been doing this a LONG time. I agree about training though, well worth your time next grow to work on that maybe...

What is wrong with this little guy

The guy above has already given you the answer :-) Soil looks very poor, plant looks like its drowning, even if you allow it to dry out you can still deluge those delicate roots when you do water. Better to spray lightly at that stage as its almost impossible to overwater using a spray bottle...

    New CFL Grow//NewBEE

Hi, Couple of tips to keep your new baby healthy. Soil looks a little rough, when you pot up try to get a good quality soil and add perlite to let the roots breath. Try just spraying the seedling for the first week or so as its so easy to overwater and kill it, to me it looks a touch...

A complete grow journal + pics

CN, I'm familiar with DrBuds work and have read that thread from the start before! I think hes influenced a lot of growers to try CFL's. We're around the same age, both in our fifties, but hes got a got a 10 year experience edge on me as hes been growing for over 30 years . But...

ChuckNorris, Excellent thread, just read it all the way through, good to see a CFL thread really showing how its done! Looking fine so far and looking forward to seeing them pile on the weight. OK, we dont expect miracles from CFL's compared to HPS but when its done properly the buds every bit...

    283w CFL TO 150HPS Grow:(

Sorry to read that, I would have hated to have that happen. Why not just stick with those CFL's? I've seen and smoked great results from CFL's in the past and its persuaded me to have a go with them. In skilled hands I have no doubt that its every bit as good as HPS grown buds. Yield of course...

    Good to be here.

Thank you for the welcome. Just started a thread in the 'CFL' sub section called "Organic stealth CFL grow". I had all my grow equipment seized in a police raid last year when I had 14 mature plants going so now I'm keeping things very small and simple with just 3 heavily trained plants! I...

    Organic, stealth, CFL grow.

Heres the first few pics for you. You can see how tight the cabinet is? Theres about another 8" of headroom above those new budsights but I can move all of the bulbs around where I want to. Day 24 flowering. Bubba O Kush ( Bubba Kush x OG Kush) (middle picture) AK47 #1. Mutant but I love...
