I would try some cal mag lol looks alot like my plants, they had yellowing centers of the leaves. If you are using distilled/RO water it is more likely. I dont think the purple stems are a bad thing really. Lots of plants get purple stems, those stems are pretty purple maybe your room gets cold?

actually, turns out it wasnt overfert from the soil. it was a calcium deficiency. I think plushberry just doesnt like temps over 85 or something. After I increased airflow a little bit the temps went down about 5 degrees and I hadent seen any balls since then except the one plant that got choped...
