Its from when you start flowering to harvest. So not including veg time. It goes by, from whenever the plant starts getting 12 hours day 12 hours night, and starts to flower. This will vary depending on where you live.

Ive been germinating these seeds for just over 4 days now, and nothing, they look a little darker, but nothing. Ill put some pictures up, really bad quality, my camera is getting repaired :(

If you're using CFLs or a fluoro tube, yea, keep them close, like a few inches away, you will need to adjust them a lot. If its a HID or HPS, its not too important, and the light will be very hot anyway.

If you have the CFLs, vertically along the sides it will work quite well, it will promote bushing and help light penetration. Also, you can put the CFLs on the top, but just laying down horizontally, they only use about 2 inches of space, and they give off more light from the sides that the end...

What the shit? CFL's dont put out much heat at all. That's why so many people use them for stealth and cheap grows. You don't need ventilation. Have you even ever used a CFL? You can touch these bastards without problem.
