Yep insulated duct works against noise, not a great deal but its does make a difference, i use 5" accoustic/insulated ducting, or sonoduct as its called here. Edit, when you cut the accoustic duct to size, be carefull of the fibreglass insulation, it itches you like fuck lol

And iv had this fly in my veg tent for two days now, it wont leave for love nor money, everytime i unzip the tent its down at the pots drainage holes, dunno if its feeding off the compost or what but i usher it away and it flys straight back to the same spot lol gonna start charging it rent soon.

You can use your 600 for rooting clones mate, just as long as you maintain a good distance from the light, even keep the prop partially shaded just until roots are visible, iv started seedlings off under my 600 and grown them from start to finish no probs, although cfl's or flourescent tubes are...
