My TD-100X fan keeps the cab cool enough when ambient is <85. I have a window unit AC, so I only used it when temps in the cab were >84F. The rate of growth seemed healthier at 79-82F, so I let it be happy. I don't have a comparison directly, but the case itself is only 7-10F above ambient...

Why not get two SolarFlare 200's? The 400 comes with the UV bulbs, but I don't see that as a huge benefit. I'd rather have two panels that I can have at different heights, and run one plant per panel. SF200 pulls 160W, SS400 pulls 365W. I'd rather have the 320w from two SF200's and have 40-50W...

It seems like the unspoken comparison is between the SGS-160 and a 400W HID. Even the comparison on their forum is to a 400W. I figured since it was meant for a 2x3 it would compare to a 200-250W HID. I'm not the making comparison myself, but I can say that if I threw 400 watts at these ladies...
