1. it looks like your "soil" is more like composted woodchips. that wont work as it doestn retain water very well and has a tendency of mildewing if becoming too wet. you need to change your growing medium or your plants simply wont be living in the proper environment to sustain healthy growth...

if youre spending a couple hundred $$$ on seeds then you want to veg those girls until they have AT LEAST 4-6 nodes/5-8" tall before you put them outside.

DO NOT till the soil, dude!!!! youll bust up the roots. place the pot into a drip pan with water in it.....a few inches is good. "drown" your plant for at least 30 minutes......a couple hours is better. that way you dont damage anything.
