That does not look like N deficiency to me dude. N deficiency starts from the bottom and works its way up. You have yellow leaves randomly throughout the plant from the looks of it - which would explain why adding more N isn't doing jack. Try adding some trace minerals such as zinc, magnesium...

Search around for some DC to AC inverters. I'm not an electrician so I don't want to make any suggestions on specifics, but I just wanted to let you know that they do make them. You'll end up spending just as much with that fan and an inverter as you would just buying a 400cfm inline though...
