using ground up plant for fert/nutes??

I wouldn't. Plant matter has to have time to break down before it can be absorbed by other plants. While its breaking down it can cause mold and other types of fungus. The vast majority of which you do not want in your grow room. Just start a compost pile outside and put all of your grass...

HIGH TIMES 2011 MEDICAL CANNABIS CUP coming to Detroit.

It's frigging High Times Medical Cannabis Cup 2011. I'm more than positive you'll be able to buy and smoke there easily enough. Legally or not is the bigger question. Michigan recognizes out of state patients with their card as long as they do not possess more than 12 plants or more than 2.5 oz...

Anyone use FF fertilizer on seedlings before?

Actually now that I've been thinking about it, I think three weeks is perfect. I plan on SCROGing so it will take an extra 2-3 weeks vegging to fill the screen anyways. Yeah

    Medium base (E26) MH/HPS bulbs

There has to be something to start the bulb, and I doubt that it's self ballasted like a CFL. A standard outlet was never meant for HID lights and will increase risk of fire as well - IF there was a way to light the bulb without a ballast. "High Intensity Discharge (HID) lamps require a...

Do not listen to that guy. You need a ballast.

Enter The Scrog/Scroggers United Post Page

Pics of my future SCROG. Temps have been high - 95*F-100*F for about 8 hours per day, but 6 of those hours are during the dark cycle so shouldn't effect the plant too much since they don't grow in the dark anyways. The other 16 hours of the light cycle stays between 77*F-85*F. Still a little...

Anyone use FF fertilizer on seedlings before?

Yeah. I wasn't going to add any. I was going to let my seedlings veg for a couple weeks and then start their feeding schedule on the week one recommendations. FFOF soil - which is what that feeding schedule is built around.

Anyone use FF fertilizer on seedlings before?

I just picked up a FF feeding schedule from the store and it shows you're supposed to feed a one week old seedling Big Bloom. Anyone ever actually feed their week old seedlings before - and not have them die? Here's a link to a digital copy of the soil feeding schedule...

    White spots help

Pick up some Mighty Wash. You can spray it on the plant the day of harvest if you need to. It's just electrically charged water that delivers a strong enough shock to the mites to kill them without harming your plant. Make sure you have a decent fan to blow on the plants though to dry up...

    Still Yellowing

Awsome. After a couple weeks they will be able to absorb nutes way better. Now just to wait and see if the yellowing slows down and eventually stops. As someone already stated, the yellow and/or dying leaves will not come back, or turn green again. One problem is that it takes two weeks at the...

    Still Yellowing

I just checked over your other thread. No mention of the PH, and I noticed that you're growing these things in 3 gal pots which are about half full of soil. A good rule of thumb is one gallon of soil per foot of plant. If your plant is root bound it's going to have issues absorbing nutes as...

    Still Yellowing

It's going to take a few days before you'll have your answer. From the pics, the plants don't look like they're too bad off right now so a couple days wont be an issue. If they are still getting worse by Monday morning try something else. Do a google image search of different deficiencies and...
