Every other time I add nutes I throw a small shot of Cal-Mag in there also .... totally optional though ;)

I leave a small space heater in my grow room to maintain 60f in case it happens to get cooler then that overnight. If you or anyone else decides to use one be sure it's clear of anything that might create a fire hazard.

That looks pretty good. Saw a 40-800x on Newegg that I'm thinking of getting in a few months.

I've gotten that claw look from over watering also ... I'm assuming you have good drainage?

I would think that would be a more then enough distance. I would leave it and try flushing and see if it improves. Watch your PH.

If you are unfamiliar with electrical work I think getting someone in there that is familiar with it is what you should do first. Don't take any shortcuts when it comes to electricity. It can become a serious hazard. Just my .02 ;)
