It's called foxtailing. Usually it's genetics that causes it, but light leaks can trigger it.

I really liked Barney's Violator Kush. I'd grow it again, no problem. I had a bubba kush, yeild was shit, taste and stone were great. Can't rememebr the breeder. I also have RP Kandy kush waiting to get cracked, but just heard back from a friend growing it that it's not all that great compared...

nope.. wattage doesn't speed up ripening. Patience, and I'm learning a bit about dropping to 10/14 for the last few weeks will hasten the ripen.

I believe sativas are easier to clone than indicas.. The original NL was almost straight indica.. So it may be a more difficult one for you. By difficult, I mean you have to keep it going until it eventually throws roots. The widow I know is a cross, and supposed to be "new grower friendly"...
