I'm not asking it clearly. How would I plug a HPS reflector up to the wall outlet. I just need standard wattage for the CFL. I know I'd have to change the "tips". Which prong is +, -, ground?

I have a spare open wing HID reflector, it has the "ballast" type tips on the cable for the socket. Can I cut that tip off and wire a standard plug to it, and then use it for a CFL? The cfl is self ballasted, so the wattage would be right....right? Will the reflector power cable have 3 wires...

I'd personally think a 4" duct booster fan would be better, more power than computer fans. And for roughly $20 you can get one off of ebay. That should keep the temp around 75 like you want.

rapid LED has PC fans, and speed controllers for them... Get something bigger than you need and use the controller, it's like $2... I use 2x27cfm for exhaust with a passive intake on a similarly sized CFL room. If I could do over again I'd get the slightly bigger PC fans they have, I got the 80s.

it was only getting to like 86ish with an open wing...something is up, the cooltube should make a bigger difference than that... I've checked my ducting is air-tight...

OK gotcha, so for LST -- leave the wire in place, but just leave it loose enough so not to restrict growth.

Thank you all for answering! It's not an auto, and my reason for topping is I only have about 36" of actual plant growth height once I deduct the pot height and light. Since topping it's began developing 4 branches growing upward and I'm LST training them already. Roots - My humidity is crazy...
