How many 6" net pots per tote

I assume you'll be leaving them in there from veg on? how long do you want to veg them? if you're willing to wait and make a few massive plants then just use the 27 gallons for one each. otherwise you can make it up in volume...

    skinny stalk and branches?

thanks dude. appreciate the reply as always. I hear you on cutting way back but I think I'm past the point of no return unless I want them to sit in that tiny ass tote forever. I'll keep it in mind for future runs though. I'm about to flip them in a week or so. The cramping is out of control...

Need some advice for Ebb and Flow setup

1- all depends on growing preference. I've seen some people fill up 5x5s with one plant. they had bigger buckets than 5, though, so I'd say 3 or 4 makes the most sense assuming you'll be training them. if not training then go SOG and just let em go. 2- scrog it but before that top. and of course...

    skinny stalk and branches?

hey folks, had a query for you. I bought some skinny stalked clones and they haven't really thickened up much since I've had em here. they look taller than they are bushy. given the stalk and branches are the artery to get these girls fed, I'm wondering if there's anything I can be doing, or...

First time dwc girls don't look happy

just take them out of those Hugos you have em in and put the little guy in some hydroton. then top feed until roots drop. Hugos are better for flood and drain.

Getting ready to slay a little girl

what light is that? in context of the other three girls it definitely looks ragged. maybe this is where the term bad seed comes from? :) take a good look at the manifold setup and make sure it's the same as the others. other than that I'd sit on it for a little while longer. if she stays sad...

    clone problems

it looks like nute burn on a couple of em but clearly that's not it. maybe over watering? looking a little wilted.

How to push out sucked in mylar tent walls?

it comes down to your intake air flow. you're blasting air out and creating a vacuum in there. it may reduce space for your plants in the tent but think about all the extra space your room now has! haha... but seriously, get more air in. if you're not going that route, my broke friend put up...

Getting ready to slay a little girl

also, since they're so small, aren't you top feeding? in that case you can just feed them differently.

Getting ready to slay a little girl

this feels like an SAT question. not sure this is the best idea but I tend to treat the res for the girl doing the worst. it just feels like the heartier they are, the less the small changes matter for them. I have a tote with 8 girls and I regret it but I'm avoiding treating calmag deficiencies...

Getting ready to slay a little girl

I'm always a fan of murdering small girls. just kidding, government. just kidding. I'm not the most experienced hydro grower personally but I've seen plenty of plants that looked like yours and still figured it out. since the tote you have is massive for two plants I would just leave it and...

First time dwc girls don't look happy

check out my post where I had a health check on eight girls. I had rockwool cubes that were fucking gigantic and were staying soaked in the water. it almost killed them. but I have twice cut back the rockwool and set it higher in the net cup and they're now exploding with root growth.

    Ebb 'n Flow vs DWC?

that's why I'm going 6" Hugo blocks. so it's less of a pain in the ass. root structures can get huge in the block without needing to touch down on any coco mat. so in your case you'll probably have two tables, no mat in veg, but a mat in flower. I haven't yet done this method but the guy at the...

    Ebb 'n Flow vs DWC?

well, not sure it matters too much but my plan is to buy clones since I am not super stoked on the clones I have now and don't want to clone them. so yeah take your 1" rockwool embedded seedling or clone, and when it's popping roots out the bottom, drop it in a Hugo. then veg them on the e&f...

    Ebb 'n Flow vs DWC?

    Ebb 'n Flow vs DWC?

dude this was the journey I just worked to solve. there are a couple different ways. I opted for an ebb and flow tray for veg with Hugo (rockwool) blocks that, when time for flower, I drop into net pots specifically designed for 6" Hugo blocks, into the flo n gro tsunami system. no extra medium...
