Dude go to your post office and get some free(most offices give them for free) tyvek envelopes. Cut themto fit inbetween your lid and the rim so when you screw it down it holds it in place. tyvek is waterproof but you can stick your needle right through it. No need for foil at all.

Wait i just went back and looked at some terminology and does rez mean no substrate? Just spawn and verm? Or does it just mean bulk? I ask because Ive always ever used CCM and lime mixed to field compacity

Obviously the answer to both of those questions is NO. So why not try to steer him in the right direction which is what a ton of members have tried doing. Obviously to no effect.

Yea i can tell my bottle is different then yours my N-P-K is different(4-0-0) mine says shake and is a good enough seal for me to actually shake it so i would definately call them and see what they say...
