    Acclimation "Hardening off" Techniques

I think that there are a lot of people out there who are still rather confused about how to do this correctly without stressing or shocking your plants, I’ve heard the shade technique and several others but the most important factor is getting your babies into a routine beforehand, that...

Any strains that grow well in the shade??

Well, it's always better to have at least 5/6 hours of direct sunlight to get good vegetative growth and compact buds, Guerrillas Gusto from Sensi works really well in difficult conditions and reduced light, your buds will be soooo light and fluffy though, open up the canopy a bit!

    outdoor stock

I like the Sensi strains for outdoor also, I'm trying the Early Girl this year and we'll see how she does, only 250g max per plant though, plus no feminised version :( I'm also doing Early Skunk again which I did last year, if you don't want any hassles with sexing go with the feminised version...

    Natural soil?

Sincere post, yours, local natural soil is underestimated in wooded areas, you' be surprised, just aerogate it well and make sure it faces south.

Reusage of last year's plot - briar patch deficiences? Stalk fungus

Grrrr... Looks like I'm going to have to post in the Plant Problems section, springtime is always full of newbies posting lame questions, come on folks, maybe I would get some info if I were asking stupid questions.

Reusage of last year's plot - briar patch deficiences? Stalk fungus

Could this be a case of charcoal rot? Seems to be a hot weather disease, we had a very dry August and perhaps the plants were stressed, I was on vacation and didn't water at all, does anyone have ANY experience with this?

Reusage of last year's plot - briar patch deficiences? Stalk fungus

Attached are pictures of last year's urban guerilla, I enjoyed a lovely veg stage but only 1 and another 1/4 of a plant out of three survived this stem rot, it seemed to be a late season disease, the briar patch could be infected with a certain fungus, it is a wild raspberry patch, everything...

    should I?

Early Skunk from Sensi? I grew it this year and have already harvested, I had some problems with mold here and there but overall yield wasn't too bad, it says it's a mold resistant strain but if humidity and rain persist it succombs to the moisture, mine started flowering in mid/late July, you...

    Guerrilla's Gusto

It looks as if though you've been toying around with nutes all year, I fed 20-20-20 2/3 times in seedling/early veg stage and only once did I give them bloom nutes, you need to pic spots that are naturally rich, I'm not sure what type of vegetation normally grows in your spot but it's the best...

    Guerrilla's Gusto

Yo Commie! I already harvested, very pleased with the hardiness and the yield, I was not expecting too much but it worked out well, the buds are rather fluffy and not too dense as they got only about 6 hrs of sun, but it's a great strain, nice to have something before the end of September!

    Hail and your outdoor plants

Plants will survive hail no problem, better when they're still in veg though, the bigger the buds the greater the possibility a branch could be broken, hail storms usually only last for a few minutes so I wouldn't be too worried, at worst you may have about 10% damage but you should be fine.

    early budding strains

I tried Guerrillas Gusto this year and it finishes from Sept 15 to Oct 1, really hardy, the nugs aren't that tight as they're rather fluffy but nice smoke, already harvested ;)...,

    Maple Leaf, outdoor in Ireland

The end of July eh? That explains the retardant flowering, that's late to put out my friend, seems like you planted too late and that's it. Nobody noticed that?

    here comes the rain

I'm 3/4 weeks into flowering and my nugs are starting to tighten up a bit, I'm in a stagnant rain pattern for 7-10 days starting this last Sunday, I've got Early Skunks that are mold resistant so they'll be put to the test, I can't cover either as it's an urban stealth grow, it hadn't rain...

    Long rain spell

Stringing up a makeshift tarp is a no-can-do... There will be breaks in the rain here and there but not sure if they'll be sunny... I'm just gonna wait it out, it's been dry all year and this is the first rain they've had in a while, they are mold resistant strains so screw it, we'll see what...

    Long rain spell

I don't think you lose trichromes when shaking, they're not like brittle pins during growth, they're attached pretty damn well. Anyhow, what about estimates on damp weather resistance?
