    Direct Seeding Outdoors

Good idea, keep it simple with just a big scoop you can remove quite a bit of soil and then 2 handfuls of a good mix to give them an advantage, then water often, afterwards they will acclimate quickly and spread roots immediately to the surrounding soil. some

    Bugs infesting stems

The pics are disturbing at best, the last one looks like it's maturing inside the stalk, freaky, they are parasites that use the stalk as a host, usually in mid summer it seems, later in the season there will damage, how can one heal the wounds? Any natural sprays or treatments, I haven't seen...

    Bugs infesting stems

Does not look too good my friend, I had a similar insect bore a hole into a stalk of mine last year, then it spewed out some funky eggs or something like your pics, perhaps they are larvae that use the inner stalk for metamorphasis then they mature and fly away, fact of the matter is that my...

fan leaves falling off in veg

Hey guys I have the same problem with my outdoor ladies, lower 1/3 fans leaves are yellowing and dropping off but new growth looks great, we've had some heat spells but only in the low 90's, they get sun all day and the late afternoon seems to be a real cooker for them, I watered this morning...

    Outdoor Snowryder

Not too happy with this strain so far, it's already 5ft tall and rather lanky, Sensi says it should go to 90-120cm - 5ft is 150cm! It gets 7 hours of full sunlight so it's not stretching, no signs of flowering either, whatever, my skunks are already starting to prepare for flowering stage and...

Heat stress - beware - Charcoal rot - aka Macrophomina phaseolina

I'm not sure about the gnats or their larvae because I've only had problems with charcoal rot and another fungus when a moth larvae bored a hole and metamorphisized inside the stalk, that plant was then weakened and succombed to fungus, ANYBODY USE MILK AS AN ANTIFUNGAL ADDITIVE WHEN WATERING??!!!

Heat stress - beware - Charcoal rot - aka Macrophomina phaseolina

Fungi As mentioned above, at least 88 species of fungi attack Cannabis and more are being discovered every year (McPartland & Hughes 1994, McPartland & Cubeta 1996). By far the most significant is gray mold, caused by Botrytis cinerea (teleomorph Botryotinia fuckeliana). B. cinerea thrives...

Heat stress - beware - Charcoal rot - aka Macrophomina phaseolina

Keep 'em hydrated folks! Once again during veg they should be all right, looks as if though once they start to flower and become more hard and woody they are more susceptible to this problem, pray for rain because watering is a bitch ass chore!

Heat stress - beware - Charcoal rot - aka Macrophomina phaseolina

Heat stress - beware - Charcoal rot - aka Macrophomina phaseolina

Don't want to scare anyone considering that there are various heat waves around the country but there needs to be some light shed on this affliction. Charcoal rot seems to be a late season heat related fungus that attacks when plants are stressed by heat in the mid to high 90°s, take a look at...

getting that bud from the brush?

First cut off as many fan leaves as possibile as they steal space with their volume, I put them in a canvas duffel bag and then put a plastic bag over the duffel bag ( the buds tend to stick to the plastic so I prefer canvas or cotton ;) Then I stick the duffel baf inside an enormous hockey bag...

    Outdoor Snowryder

I only left one Snowryder among this patch of Early Skunks, there is a slight competition issue as I stuck her close to the others but it's just a trial, plant seems to be bushing out and has large leaves, there is some slug damage but not too bad, no signs of flowering yet but the pistils are...

    Outdoor Snowryder

I purchased 10 Feminized Snowryder beans from Whitelabel/Sensi and I have five of them out now, started them round late April indoors and put them out in my guerrilla spot around mid May, they are vegging nicely and are good size, I have not seen them for almost 3 weeks and will post pics on...

how big do outdoor plants get//when 2 harvest??

They will get a lot taller yes, they'll put on another 2 to 3 feet easily if they are 4 1/2 5 1/2 foot now, count on at least 7 to 9 footers, I always top because I always have problems in mid/late July with wind! They just get too difficult to tend to over 6 feet, and really top-heavy! you...

SOOo many probs with my babies. please help :)

Looks like you've been playing mad scientist so far, pics would help but sounds to me like you're tampering with them too much, alternating many feedings in small quantities even if the proportion of nutes is reduced is not a great idea, you didn't mention anything about soil or pots etc... Once...

    soil and other plants

Moss and sand? Hmmmmm… It’s what is underneath the top layer that counts, have you verified what other types of plants are growing in the same area/conditions, weed can do well in many different environments but make sure it’s not too damp, I have always planted mine in local soil with no...

Unrelentless rain for 2 weeks, do not worry folks, heavy rain reassurance :)

Here are some of my fem Early Skunks that got pounded by rain for the last two weeks, as you can see no problems :) No slugs either :) Don't freak out if it rains too much in the first weeks, my temps were in the 50/60's most of the time, colder weather can slow things down but even if it rains...
